Nurturing Outstanding Talents
Supporting NTHU Racing Team in International Competitions to Implement ESG Talent Cultivation
Date: June 3, 2026
To actively support domestic higher education technology R&D and deepen the cultivation of top-tier engineering talent, TURVO has donated NT$300,000 to "NTHU Racing," a student team from the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University. This practical action supports students in vehicle R&D and manufacturing, as well as their participation in international racing design competitions (Formula SAE / Formula Student).
"NTHU Racing" is currently one of the few domestic student racing teams that remains continuously active on the international stage. During each racing season, team members must design and manufacture a brand-new race car from scratch. The R&D scope spans chassis structure, powertrain systems, electronic controls, and systems integration, demonstrating high professional technical value and practical significance. In recent years, the team has continuously refined its vehicle craftsmanship. Since last year, they have successfully directed their chassis design toward "lightweighting"—the core of modern automotive technology—showcasing excellent R&D capabilities.
This international racing competition has a long history and high global visibility. The event lasts for about a week, and the evaluation items include not only rigorous dynamic performance tests but also comprehensive assessments such as vehicle design evaluations and cost analyses. The spirit of innovation and hands-on practice demonstrated by the students of NTHU Racing aligns perfectly with the Company’s pursuit of precision craftsmanship. Through this financial support, the Company encourages high-level engineering specialists, fulfills its corporate social responsibility, and bridges the gap between industry and academia. This initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of outstanding automotive engineering talents in Taiwan, equipped with both a global perspective and hands-on experience, working together with society to create a sustainable future.
